I lay sprawled upon the shore of confusion.
Thunderous waves of accusation have relentlessly tossed and pitched me ashore.
I was once capable of riding these waves,
These behemoths of the sea.
Riding till they broke and collapsed about me.
Crashing down blue, beautiful, consuming.
Catching them by their reins time and time again.
No Longer.
Now they have enslaved me.
They are thieves, stealing my breath.
Suffocating
They have subdued desire to love and be loved.
I have been defeated.
Only to rise again!
I will not succumb to such slanderers.
I will rise to ride again.
To tame and govern these Leviathans of Denigration.
I am flawed and afflicted.
But much more greater a creation.
I am a Wave Rider!
